In 2015 the cannabis industry was turned upside down upon the release of the short path distillation process to purify a crude cannabis extract into a very high potency golden oil often referred to as “distillate”. At the time the industry most often used trim or leaf (which was shockingly almost given away) as the extraction material so our name “Goldleaf” was selected to subtly suggest the short path distillation process which was the foundation of the company.

Our founder was experienced in the short path distillation process and knew what equipment was needed. He also knew that bundling or making a kit would be a huge convenience to buyers so the company was launched around the sales of short path distillation kits. We wanted to offer a fair price and give away all the info that the industry was desperate for, so that’s what we did.
As the industry matured around 2017 we expanded to other equipment such as Glass Reactors, and Rotary Evaporators, which would support other extraction or purification processes. By then China had flooded the market with cheap equipment and other sellers took advantage and built their supply chain around it. We were familiar with the issues with buying cheap China short path kits so we went the opposite approach as many other sellers and pivoted the company. We started focusing on producing the newest and most exciting designs and the highest quality equipment possible. To do this we needed to rapid prototype and optimize new designs so started our in house glassblowing operation.
As the price for distillate began to really crash around 2019 we knew that the market demand for short path kits would fall as well. Ultimately we found that this niche was too small and unpredictable so began to develop and market scientific and laboratory equipment for cannabis, and the greater scientific industries. We used our product experience and manufacturing expertise to expand our product offerings into homogenizers, hotplate stirrers, overhead stirrers, and we continue to add more many more products each day. All refunds and exchanges must be made within 30 days from the purchase of the item(s) and must be unused unless authorized by customer support. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as pump oil, filter papers, etc. cannot be returned.
The customer must pay for return shipping on all returns and this cost may be refunded in some cases. No credit or refund will be given for items received damaged so the shipper must package the item(s) well and insure the shipment accordingly.
All freight shipments or any order shipped over a value of $2000.00 will include a shipment receiver document which outlines the steps to properly receive the shipment. Failure to follow any of these steps may void any claim for damages caused during shipping. Goldleaf cannot be held responsible to repair, replace, or refund any value if any steps are not followed.
You will be liable for the value of any items shipped as replacements and used or damaged upon return.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of 20% can be applied to any order delivered and returned for any reason other than a defective product. Goldleaf may perform its own testing to validate the defect or to dispute it. Custom products may incur a restocking fee up to 50% depending on the stage of development. We strive to offer the best service possible and rarely charge a fee, but we must retain the right to do so. A store credit up to the full amount is also available as an alternative solution.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
